Slow Cooker French Onion Meatball Subs ✨ A must-try dish that's incredibly simple to make and tastes amazing! ✨
Ingredients:
1 bag frozen meatballs (32 oz)
1 can condensed French onion soup
1 packet French onion soup mix
1 cup beef broth
1/2 onion, chopped
Instructions:
Place the frozen meatballs, condensed French onion soup, French onion soup mix, beef broth, and chopped onion into the slow cooker.
Cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low for 5-6 hours.
In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of corn starch with a little water to create a slurry. Add the slurry to the slow cooker and stir well. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Meanwhile, toast the buns in the oven. Once toasted, top with meatballs and Gruyère cheese.
Broil in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve the meatballs on the toasted buns and enjoy!
✨ You can also serve the meatballs over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles. Simply add an additional cup of beef broth at the beginning for more sauce. ✨
